Vans Tune in to Foo Fighters for Rocking Sk8-Hi Colab
have just hit social media to announce they are teaming up with the Foo Fighters to deliver a special limited edition that will help to celebrate the beloved band’s 25th anniversary. And it’s a typically uncomplicated affair, dressing mostly in black and white, save for the heel and tongue branding. You’ll also notice the band’s ‘FF’ logo writ large on both the medial and lateral sides of the ankles, plus ‘Foo’ on the left heel and ‘Fighters’ on the right heel.
It’s a neat fusion of the long-term relationship between the intermingling worlds of Vans, skate and music, and arguably one of the coolest items of band merch that you’ll see in a while.
Vans have just said that the collaborative Sk8-Hi is ‘coming soon’, but with the Foo Fighters’ next album, Medicine at Midnight, scheduled for a February 5 release, the smart money is on these rocking sneakers to land within the next few weeks. They also refer to it as a ‘special limited edition pair’, so it might be time to start looking to the sky to save you.
