Union Have Jordan and Nike Collaborations Planned for 30th Anniversary
One of the stalwarts of the Los Angeles streetwear and sneaker scene, Union LA, is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2021. They’ve been located in the same spot since 1991, and they’re planning on commemorating the milestone with the most ambitious collaboration calendar in their history. Set to roll out throughout the year, the stellar lineup includes projects alongside the long-time partners Nike and Jordan Brand.
At this stage, it’s unclear what the collaborations will be comprised of, but if they’re past works are anything to go by, you can expect another truly unique offering. Known for their vintage-inspired aesthetic, and use of bold colour combos, Union will likely stick to their tried-and-true formula for the collaborative items. While it’s unlikely we’ll see another Union x Air Jordan 1 or Union x Air Jordan 4, there’s plenty of Jumpman silhouettes still on the table, both new and old.
As for the other collaborators announced – the list is a who’s who. Check out the names below:
- Bephies Beauty Supply
- Born x Raised
- Cactus Plant Flea Market
- Camp High
- Fear of God Essentials
- Real Bad Man
First up, Union are kicking off the festivities with their own 30th anniversary capsule. Release dates for the rest of the collaborations will be revealed throughout the year. Stay tuned!
