Brought to light by , the new pair combines the upper of the with the collar of the Air Jordan 1 'Neutral Grey.' It also leans further into its vintage inspiration than the two pairs that were released did, thanks to pre-distressed and aged detailing on the upper and midsole alike. Looksee samples are usually created early in a sneaker's production process, and are made simply so designers and collaborative partners can get a rough idea of what their final product will actually look like when it comes out of the factory.
That status means that this colour combo and its heavily-aged details were discarded somewhere in the beginning or middle of the design process, making this looksee sample a striking (and rare) glimpse into the process of creating one of last decade's best Air Jordan colabs!
