More than five years after we started work on the design, we can reveal that the Sneaker Freaker x  has finally been released in Europe and North America.

Founded by the Hill brothers back in 1994, Globe is Australia's best known skate brand. The book chronicles the company's DIY origins in the 70s, charting the ups and the downs, as well as celebrating the entrepreneurial pizzazz the brothers brought to the fledgling skate industry. Written by Jason Boulter, this was a true labour of love, with hundreds of interviews adding perspective and dozens of photographers supplying action imagery. Part business how-to, part skate history, it's certainly a unique book. And at 700+ pages and well over 5kgs, an epic one as well. We're quite proud of the work we did on this monster tome.

The standard edition is available in good book stores right now. What you see here is the super-deluxe version we made for a lucky few industry folk. The cover was hand-bound in vegetable-tanned leather and embellished with classy gold foil lettering. Dig a little deeper in the skatedeck-strength plywood box and you'll find our interpretation of the Chet Thomas IV skate shoe. Assembled using the same premium vege-tan leather, Globe's classic model from the 90s has never looked better.

Unfortunately, this is one of those infuriating money-can't-buy promo items, but stay tuned and you might just have a chance to win this hefty box set!
