Update February 24, 2022: The UNDERCOVER x Nike Dunk High 1985 'Chaos' is being preparing to touch down at select retailers on February 28! We've prepared a neat Where to Buy guide below so you have the best chance at copping.
Jun Takahashi’s legendary UNDERCOVER imprint continues to fuel the sneaker zeitgeist with plenty of collaborative nous in recent months, the streetwear stalwart linking up with sacai in late 2021, and already revealing new Swoosh models in their 2022 AW lookbook.
The latest link-up in their long-standing relationship with Nike involves the industry-defining Dunk silhouette, the UNDERCOVER x Nike Dunk High 1985 ‘Chaos’ originally unveiled during their FW 2021 collection for Paris Fashion Week. Postponed due to unfortunate supply chain issues, it now looks like the Dunk collaboration is finally scheduled to arrive this week, the ‘murdered-out’ rendition today revealed with official imagery from Nike.
UNDERCOVER have opted for a variety of leather textures for the collaboration, with tumbled leather on the underlays and a smoother leather on the overlays. ‘CHAOS’ is emblazoned on the left foot, while the right reads ‘GLEICHGEWICHT’, which means ‘BALANCE’ in German. ‘NEUS’ and ‘NEUER’ also appear on the collars, a reference to ‘NEW’. Finally, speckled outsoles complete the design.
Look for the UNDERCOVER x Nike Dunk High 1985 ‘Chaos’ to land on February 28.
