Under Armour Announce A New Steph Curry Model
are greeting the new NBA season with the announcement of the Curry 3, and a new video that addresses Golden State losing the championship with a 3-1 lead, a topic of ridicule since last season's Game 7. In the Harmony Korine directed clip, Make That Old, can be seen reflecting on a season that was very nearly perfect. It outlines the improbability of Curry getting ’73-9, and no ring’ while opting to put the failure in the past, and look to a future involving Curry’s new signature model.
The Curry 3 ushers in a host of new specs, but the most notable is Under Armour’s new Threadborn fabric. Built from durable yarns found within parachute weave, Threadborne features braided threads wrapped around a corded panel. It’s a material Under Amour are confident will offer unparalleled strength and support.
Performance is paramount, but the Curry 3 isn’t shabby in the looks department. The introductory colourway naturally comes in a ‘Dub Nation’ make-up, with yellow setting the laces apart from an ocean of blue, but seven new colourways are soon to follow.
