Read All About It: Tyshawn’s ‘Bronx News’ Pop-Up Lands in NYC

It’s been a spicy stretch for The Bronx-born phenom is for a cool $26 million, claiming the brand torched his seven-figure deal after he appeared in a Marc Jacobs campaign. The suit also alleges defamation, with Jones accusing Supreme of spreading false narratives that hurt his standing in the skate industry.
But while Supreme’s tangled in red tape, Tyshawn’s locking in with another partner. Hooking up with Jones is rolling out a fresh bodega-style pop-up at 203 Spring Street in SoHo. Dubbed The Bronx News, the space runs from June 5–8 and features exclusive drops like Thrasher x King Skateboards decks, Tyshawn Thunder trucks, and limited Spitfire wheels. Scratch-off tickets keep things buzzy, and on July 7, Tyshawn and crew will host a full-blown skate jam to cap things off.

In the lead-up to the event, adidas are also dropping a new ‘Collegiate Navy’ edition of the Tyshawn II. Featuring a clean blend of chalk white, deep navy, and soft grey, it’s a nod to classic athletic gear with a streetwise twist. Under the hood, the Tyshawn II packs dual-layer suede reinforcement, perforated panels for breathability, and full-length LIGHTSTRIKE cushioning to soak up impact. Add in a grippy cupsole and reflective Three Stripes, and you’ve got a sneaker that’s as ready for the plaza as it is for post-session flex.
The Bronx News pop-up will be open daily from 1 to 8 pm between June 5 and June 8, located at 203 Spring Street in New York City. The ‘Collegiate Navy’ Tyshawn II, along with coordinated apparel like a track jacket, pants, and tee, will drop on June 1 through adidas and select skate retailers.
