Tyler, The Creator Remixes JAY-Z's '4:44' With PUMA Diss

new deal has now seen him diss two rival sneaker brands. The first slight was delivered in a line from ‘Aint Got Time’, in which he said, ‘Conversations with Converse because fucked up’. The second arrived in a remix of JAY-Z’s ‘4:44’.

In it, Tyler makes a sly dig at the Big Cat, saying ‘...them Golf Le Fleur unos, ‘cause we don’t do PUMA’. It’s not as direct as his Vans diss – but there are a couple of underlying factors that Rap Genius analysts could have a field day with, the most obvious of which is taking a song off JAY-Z’s 4:44 and using it to bag on the brand sponsoring the album’s tour. Given Tyler has publicly questioned the validity of Tidal’s streaming numbers, it's likely that there’s some bad blood there. The third fork to the diss could be directed at PUMA sales, as he follows the line by saying he sold 20,000 pairs in three seconds: something that could be interpreted as the difference between his shoes and PUMA’s.
