2022 marks 10 years of Tom Sachs and Nike's co-created NikeCraft initiative, so the incomparable artist and the Swoosh are celebrating with a brand-new model dubbed the General Purpose Shoe. A simple lifestyle silhouette that seems to combine elements of the Killshot and the Waffle One, the General Purpose Shoe was originally debuted in a white and blue colourway. Now, however, a second pair that's done up in bright yellow has been revealed.

Debuted by humbly-named sneaker leaker @wavegod_thelegend, this new General Purpose Shoe may be the most vibrant Nike sneaker Sachs has created yet. On his previous Mars Yard releases – save for the Mars Yard Overshoe – Sachs has opted for muted, earthy colour schemes with just a few bright pops in their palettes. However, this sneaker features a full yellow mesh and suede upper with cream Swoosh branding and Sachs' signature hits of red on the super-sized tongue and heel tabs. Although it's not visible in the photo above, the insole features a hand-scrawled NikeCraft graphic. Pebbled off-white midsoles and a classic black waffle outsole complete the style.

There's currently no word on an official release date for the Tom Sachs x Nike NikeCraft General Purpose shoe, or even confirmation on if this yellow pair will release or is a sample. However, SF will be sleuthing for info on the latest Sachs sneakers – so keep it locked here for updates as they're uncovered.
