Nike may have to amend shrinkage warnings on their tags: ‘Don’t machine dry… or leave in cars.’
One Twitter user found this out the hard way when she returned to her car and found what she assumed were children’s slides. ‘As I’m getting into my car I see these little ass shoes in my backseat. I’m thinking whose damn kids been in my car?’ But nope, the slides were hers, size 9, just shrunk to GS sizing in the heat.
If y’all wanna know how my day is going (And I’m sure you do)... As I’m getting into my car I see these little ass shoes in my backseat. I’m thinking whose damn kids been in my car???? So I look at the shoe and it’s a mf size 9. THE SUN SHRUNK MY SLIDES🤬FML pic.twitter.com/M9LIpPBfSK— a u t u m n (@Autumn_Kamrie) August 22, 2019
If you can trust Twitter, she's not alone. Others jumped in to show their own problems with shrinkage
Slides aren't the only thing you can't trust in the heat, it seems you can't even leave your Lil Uzi Vert in the car without shrinkage.
