This Nike Air Force 1 is Inspired by Shoe Box Paper
The inspiration behind some of the recent has been wild! And for their latest trick, Team Swoosh have paid homage to shoe box paper.
Dubbed the ‘Timeless Classic Keep Fresh’, this Air Force 1 features a paper-inspired shroud with all-over branding that cascades over the entire upper, only revealing the laces and midsole. Although it’s reminiscent of paper, the material that covers the top half looks to be a similar fabric to the two tear-away AF-1s seen not that long ago.
Underneath the top layer is what looks like the regular ‘Triple White’ Uptown given a vintage makeover. The purposely aged leather and midsole help to exude a pre-worn, vintage vibe.
The inventive take on the AF-1 joins the current trend of mixing things up on the iconic retro baller. Recently there was the , and if you didn’t already think the ‘Racer Pink’ colourway was extreme enough, take a look at the construction. Another ‘’ joint also surfaced featuring a top layer that can be pulled off to reveal colours underneath.
