This Fake Nike Recruitment Campaign is Catching People Out

Sneaker scams come in all — and they’re not always about fake sneakers. Doing the rounds on social media, a fake Nike recruitment campaign promising free sneakers and apparel has caught out a number of aspiring ‘influencers’.

Bogus advertisements have been shared by accounts like @nike_recruitss, asking users to follow and repost the image in order to become a Nike ambassador. Sounds totally legit to us.

Nike have debunked the campaign on Twitter, but did they really need to? Who the heck spells recruits with two Ss?
