Thinking Different Load Up an ‘Air Mac’ Custom Sneaker Creation
Conceptual artist Thinking Different has loaded up a very special custom creation, combining two icons of the 80s – the Macintosh and the Air Jordan 1 – into the ‘Air Mac’ sneaker. Inspired by his first computer, a 1984 Macintosh his dad brought home from a garage sale, the sneaker combines key Apple elements with the legendary AJ1 silhouette.
Making use of a clean white leather upper as the base, the sneaker is constructed in the legendary high-top AJ1 build. The traditional side look has been replaced with a unique Apple ‘Swoosh’ in grey, while the Wings logo on the ankle has been tweaked into an ‘Air Mac’ logo with a computer graphic. Further up, the tongue tag features an Apple logo, as more grey hits on the upper collar section. Down below, we get an off-white sole unit, while deluxe packaging and complementary socks complete the ensemble.
No release info has been revealed for these custom ‘Air Mac’ sneakers. However, if you’re interested in a pair, be sure to get in contact with Thinking Different via their socials.
