Part sneaker store, part gallery, and part lounge, the Special Sneaker Club has opened its doors in Milan, launching with an invite-only party for industry folk and ‘club members’.

Founder Stefano Pomogranato has conceptualised a truly dynamic retail space where patrons can talk about sneakers and sneaker culture — a project to give back to the industry that his given him so much.

‘My dream is just to have a place where we can share our knowledge with the younger kids and where we can spread the right culture, where we can teach the younger sneakerhead generation to not always believe the hype,’ he says. ‘We aim to build a community — a family of sneaker enthusiasts — that are part of the project. We have a membership program open to a limited amount of people.’

Open to just 750 people worldwide, members will pay an annual fee (75€) for an exclusive membership pack made of several exclusive items. Access to all limited releases will be a key perk for those living in Milan.

International members will get access to free services when in Milan, such as co-working spaces with free Wi-Fi, free access to a sneaker/streetwear library, a sneaker laundry, and discounts at the store.
