The Rarest Sneakers from the Sotheby’s x Stadium Goods ‘Ultimate Sneaker Collection’
Sotheby’s and Stadium Goods have teamed up to auction off the ‘Ultimate Sneaker Collection’. Each pair of the 41-pair collection is open for bidding until July 24. With appearances from the usual Off-White, Yeezy and Jordan Brand offerings, there are also some super rare sneakers in the mix. Here are some of the best picks, in our opinion:
NikeCraft Mars Yard Shoe Pack
The Mars Yard 2.0 is relatively easy to source if you throw enough money in the right direction. However, few pairs of the original 2012 release ever become available to purchase, as ardent collectors are likely to never give up their pairs. You'll have your chance to win both.
Nike 'Moon Shoe' (1972)
This early 70s 'Moon Shoe' is in incredible condition – just look how pristine that waffle outsole looks. Even Nike's sample has flaws!
Nike Air 180 x Eminem 'Shade 45'
Air 180 colabs are already few and far between, and this Eminem charity edition is even harder to source. Are you a size 10?
Nike 'Entourage' Pack
The 'Turtle' Air Force 1 is the stuff of dreams. Initially thought as just a prop for the TV show, a handful of extra pairs were made. Not many are in public hands. Winning this auction means you also win the Friends and Family 'Lights Out' SB Dunk in commemoration of the show's final season.
Nike HTM 'Milano' Pack
This collection may include some of the rarest Flyknit sneakers ever. The Racers are ever so different to the general release, but the real star of this auction is the Lunar Flyknit Trainer. Very hard to come by.
Air Jordan 4 'Wahlburger'
The 'Wahlburger' Jordan 4 was supposedly only made for actor Mark Wahlberg's family burger restaurant chain. A fun one to collect.
