The Nike ZoomX VaporFly NEXT% 2 Is on the Way
running division has always been a hotbed of innovation, giving us the best of the best when it comes to performance pavement-pounders. The pinnacle of the Swoosh’s marathon shoes, the was one such innovation, debuting its high-speed tech back in 2019. Now, we’re seeing the model’s next evolution with the ZoomX VaporFly NEXT% 2.
Straight off the bat, the most notable difference is the upper, whose VaporFly fabrication appears to be a more open weave than the 2019 version. Given the athlete consultation that went into creating an ultra-breathable and moisture-wicking upper back in 2019, we can only imagine how airy these will be!
It’s unsure whether there have been any changes to the sole unit but, at the very least, we can expect Zoom cushioning and full-length carbon plate for ultimate propulsion.
Our first look comes via this two-tone pair, which sits seafoam green next to blue for an oceanic scheme. No word yet on a release date, but we’ll keep you posted.
