The Nike Waffle Racer Crater Crops Up in Crimson
On a mission to create sustainable footwear, have been tapping a number of their iconic silhouettes and replacing the midsoles with Crater foam. A worthy initiative, this next iteration is made from at least 20 per cent recycled materials.

After that loud and strong colourway for the ladies, Team Swoosh are now preparing another combo that’s been toned down slightly, and will release in men’s sizes.
‘Photon Dust’ suede dominates this iteration, matching the grey speckled Crater foam midsole. Team Swoosh have then opted for a mostly-black base and contrasting exposed stitching throughout. The much-needed pop of colour comes through on the ‘Hyper Crimson’ Swoosh. More branding is scripted along the heel, tongue, and brightly-coloured insole. Finishing off the look is the rugged waffle outsole in a darker grey Crater foam finish.
Release details for the Nike Waffle Racer Crater ‘Hyper Crimson’ haven’t surfaced just yet, but expect to see these hit retailers before the year is out!
