Nike have been consistently reinterpreting both old and new models with recycled tech, causing quite the stir in the sustainable sneaker space in the process. Their Crater Foam models have been a massive hit, but nothing compares to the complex Space Hippie silhouettes.
First touching down earlier in the year, the four shoes were a massive success and now, following on from that initial release, we’ve seen some new colourways hit the scene. The latest coming from Beaverton is the Space Hippie 04 in a Black/Volt mix.
Probably the most low-key model in the pack, Team Swoosh have gone ahead with a tonal black-hued upper made from ‘Space Waste Yarn’. Minimal branding takes place with a small Swoosh hit along the medial toe box, and extremely understated detail along the lateral side. The rest of the upper contains woven ‘Volt’ contrast splashes complemented by the heel pop and insole. Sitting down below is the signature speckled recycled Crater Foam midsole.
Peep the official images above of the Nike Space Hippie 04 Black/Volt and keep an eye on your local Swoosh retailer, these should arrive before the end of the year.
