Following the initial news back in April, it seems the Nike Dunk Low ‘Georgetown’ is getting closer, and will be available in a full size run. The scheme takes its name from the navy and grey combo’s similarity to the Georgetown Hoyas colours, despite no confirmation this is an official linkup. That said, it’s been quite the popular colourway across multiple brands, most memorably with the Jumpman.
The design mostly sticks to the Dunk’s favoured two-tone approach, save for the clean white midsole that splices the look. There’s also a very minor hit of ‘Total Orange’, but that hides on the insole branding.
The Dunk’s current resurgence has it nipping at the heels of its 1985 alumni – the previously untouchable Air Jordan 1. Think you know all the differences between the Dunk and the AJ1? Have a read of our definitive breakdown of the two models because, even if you think you know them all, you might still find one or two variations that will surprise you.
As per the Tweet below, the release has been slated for ‘summer’ in the northern hemisphere, which means it could still be a month or two away. But we’ll keep you updated once any official announcements are made.
