The Nike Air More Uptempo Gets Exotic With its Leather
Over the past few years, we’ve had a massive uptick in the number of colourways on the . We can probably thank the tremendous 2017 collaboration for that, or maybe just the popular sneakerhead obsession with the 90s. Whatever the case, we aren’t complaining, and aren’t slowing down anytime soon because another Grade School colourway has just surfaced, and the leather looks pretty exotic.
For this kids-only iteration, the regular Uptempo construction has stayed intact, with a smooth leather base dressed in black and huge AIR branding plastered along either side. Red and light blue accents pop on the monochromatic upper, with the rear and heel Swooshes and the number 8 really catching the eye. Looking closely at this rendition, we can see that Team Swoosh have used an ultra-pebbled material that almost looks like stingray leather along the medial and lateral sides, plus wrapped around the heel and a hit on the tongue.
Sorry to all you folks with big ‘ol feet, this pair of Nike Air More Uptempo’s is releasing exclusively in Grade School sizing in the coming few months. They’ll retail for $130.
