The Nike Air Max Plus Embraces the Grind
Nike have made their intentions clear when it comes to sustainability, and the brand is continuing to release classic silhouettes with eco-friendly upgrades, such as this Air Max Plus. Equipped with the Nike Grind recycled soles, this colourway is sure to be an easy-to-rock and easy-to-cop option to add to your Air Max rotation.
Arriving in a classic combination of black, grey and white, this sneaker keeps things simple and sustainable. For the upper, there’s black mesh with grey used for the familiar synthetic wavy overlays. Adding some contrast are the white 3M speckled laces and the tongue taping that reads ‘TUNED / AIR’ across the right and left shoe, respectively. Additionally, there’s the classic ‘Tn’ branding on the heels, adding another subtle highlight. As mentioned, the Air Max sole unit is constructed with a Nike Grind rubber outsole, while a white midsole sits above to complete the design.
No official release date has been revealed alongside these official photos. However, you can expect this Air Max Plus to release in the coming weeks at select retailers and via Nike.
