The Nike Air Max Penny 1 'Home' Is Set For a 2022 Encore!
's sneakers have received the retro treatment time and time again, but one pair that's never been brought back before is the 'Home.' First released in 1996 and boasting a blue/white/black colourway designed to match the Orlando Magic's home uniforms, it's become somewhat of a cult style among Penny collectors – after all, there are probably very few wearable pairs left!
However, Hardaway fans both big and little (shoutout to Lil' Penny) will be pleased to know that the Air Max Penny 1 'Home' will make a return in 2022, more than a quarter-century after its debut.
Per a report from Air Max Instagram page Bubblekoppe – who also broke the news that the would return in 2022 earlier this year – Hardaway's home sneaker will return sometime in 2022. An official date of arrival has yet to be announced by Nike, and product images of the retro are forthcoming (the pair pictured above is a 1996 original) but more info will likely surface soon.
