The Nike Air Max 95 has low-key been having a strong year in 2020. Originally hitting shelves in 1995, the AM95 has hit the big two-five this year, and over at Beaverton they haven’t stopped celebrating. Most recently we’ve seen them pop not only one but two bottles of the bubbly with a duo of ‘ Champagne’ pairs, there’s been the spooky ‘ Freddy Kruegers’, and the coveted DENHAM pair. After being given a sustainable makeover earlier in the year, Team Swoosh have now blessed the Air Max 95 with the ‘Crater’ touch.

Going for a lighter-hued colourway this time, Nike have opted for a white mesh base and a matching felt-like white mudguard with contrast stitching. Pushing Nike’s Move to Zero message are the recycled darker-coloured textiles used along both the lateral and medial sides, plus the tongue. Adding that extra pop is the DIY-esque stitching that’s been used to secure them in. Down below, we’ve got the clean, white midsole mixed with translucent Air bubbles and Nike Grind Rubber outsole.

Check out the insane details of the Nike Air Max ‘Crater’ via the official pics above, and expect that it’ll be dropping at select Swoosh stockists around the globe over the coming months.
