The Nike Air Force 1 Stitches Up Some Golden Highlights
The Nike Air Force 1 belongs right at the top of the sneaker podium, so it deserves to flash a bit of gold from time to time. And official pics have emerged of an upcoming colourway that does just that, albeit with a healthy dose of subtlety.
Decked out mostly in white, the scheme looks to its branding hits for the all-important touches of contrast. Firstly, the side Swooshes, heel tabs, and tongue badges wear black, before the gold is embroidered onto those same heel tabs and tongue badges. The golden theme continues with shiny lace dubraes, and embroidered mini Swooshes on the lateral mudguard. Subtle, yet very effective.
The Air Force 1’s meteoric rise from 1980s baller to timeless lifestyle model means it’s still a prominent member of the sneaker zeitgeist almost 40 after its debut release. The iconic AF-1 is revered by many, and frequently delivers both collaborative and GR heat.
Pairs of this Nike Air Force 1 with the Midas touch are expected to hit Nike and selected Swoosh stockists quite soon.
