The New Balance T-HOUSE Rethinks Tokyo Retail
If you’ve been keeping up with all things lately (which you can do by creating a SF profile), you’ll know the Japanese division is releasing a of the 1300JP. This release actually coincides with the launch of a new concept store in Tokyo called T-HOUSE.
As the name suggests, the concept is inspired by tearooms of Japan’s past, and the NB team have converted part of a 122-year-old wooden warehouse to house the store. T-HOUSE will also become the home base for the Tokyo Design Studio team, who have been churning out NB’s sleeper hits.
The New Balance T-HOUSE opens on July 17 and will have plenty of exclusive products that likely won’t be found anywhere else in the world. In future, there will be activations, workshops, and a new retail experience. Check it out!
