The ‘Goldenrod’ Arrives in Nike Dunk Low Form
Update: We've now received a closer look at the Nike Dunk Low 'Goldenrod' retro compliments of streetwear stalwart, Asphaltgold. The raffle is set to open in seven days!
Another day, another Dunk! Nike ain’t done with the Dunk yet, and we’ve just received a tasty new look at the famed ‘Goldenrod’ colourway – this time in the Low form.
The news of this iteration comes fresh after the release of the Air Jordan 1 ‘Pollen’ which rocks a similar two-tone aesthetic. This colourway was also seen late last year on the Dunk High, referencing the 1985 Be True to Your School series. We also peeped Team Swoosh reverse the combo, once again used on the High. The Nike Dunk Low ‘Goldenrod’ is also known as the ‘Iowa’ because of its strong palette resemblance to the Iowa Hawkeyes college football team.
Our first look has come through from sneaker sleuth brandon1an who’s blessed with a slew of pics and details. The upper comes through in a classic all-leather build, with two tone black and yellow upper plus white midsole rounding out the look.
Official word is yet to come from Beaverton regarding the Nike Dunk Low ‘Goldenrod’, however the source suggests that these will arrive in the Northern Hemisphere’s Fall of this year.
