The Three Stripes continue to bring 4D to the masses, adding to their ever-growing lineup with a brand new silhouette dubbed the Glide 4D.
Leaked shots via solebyjc give us a first look at the streamlined runner, which shares a number of similarities with the 4D Run 1.0. The leaked colourway is simple, coming through with a predominantly white knitted upper – likely Primeknit if we’re going by adi’s track record. Additionally, the overall construction appears more sock-like compared to the Run 1.0, with no heel counter or visual structural support tech.
On the lateral and medial sides, silver Three Stripes branding creates a subtle contrast, while searing orange highlights hit the tongue logo and outsole. As for the sole, it’s what we’ve come to expect: a bed of eye-catching 4D, arriving in an off-white hue.
Perhaps the name is a giveaway, but we’re tipping the Glide to be the lightweight king of the 4D range. Cutting back the unnecessary features, the build brings back memories of the BOOST’s heyday, and is hopefully a step in the right direction for Team Trefoil.
No release date has been revealed for the adidas Glide 4D, but expect an official unveiling in the coming months.
