Sneaker forums have been a scene staple since the dawn of the internet, often evolving into full-blown community projects. , which started life as a Facebook group, has since solidified itself as one of the biggest community platforms dedicated to discussing and documenting UK youth culture, and over the course of its evolution, they’ve had a fair few sneaker colabs. Now, The Basement are entering the next phase of their development, setting up a Give-Back Fund for aspiring entrepreneurs and creatives connected to the community, and they’ll be raffling off pairs from their archive to help kickstart the process.

The raffle spans each of The Basement’s collaborative projects, which kicked off with their sought-after from 2017 – a murdered-out version of the silhouette that came dressed in nine different materials, and where proceeds went towards launching a creative arts hub in Brixton. After the Dunk, the group dropped three ’ colourways, working with creatives in each of the corresponding locations. A few years later, The Basement linked up with for a run of , which included two ultra-limited versions in the community-only ‘Earth Brown’ and the Friends and Family ‘Dark Slate’ editions. Most recently, the group dropped two colourways in ‘Day Chrome’ and ‘Night Chrome’.

Each of these collaborations will be up for grabs, with pairs available for a mere £50 entry fee, so winners will secure them for a seriously reasonable price. Successful entrants will win a blind pair from The Basement’s archival collection, and anyone who’s not blessed with a W will be refunded when the raffle ends.
