The Atlas x Nike SB Dunk High Comes Pre-Distressed

It’s been a few months since there was news about the upcoming Atlas Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk High but, lo and behold, official images have suddenly emerged. And these better-res pics confirm some interesting details not made obvious in previous sightings. Namely the all-over distressed treatment subjected to these Dunks...

The uppers use cracked leather, adding a layer of faux patina, an effect compounded by the aged midsoles, yellow glue stains beneath the Swooshes, and likely the creamy laces too. This is what a Dunk could look like if it sat on a dusty window display for decades on end.

So, it’ll make for an interesting effect once they’re skated in. That is, assuming they actually meet grip tape at some point in their non-DS lives. Stay tuned for release details to come.
