The Air Jordan 1 Low is Gearing up for Chinese New Year 2021
Every year, and help to celebrate Chinese New Year with a slew of themed iterations, and it seems like they’re psyched for The Year of The Ox in 2021 because we’ve just been hit with a kitted out . This news comes fresh off the back of news that the will also be joining in on the party, in its very own CNY makeup.
This has been blessed with the familiar black, red and white colour scheme, however instead of the usual full-leather upper, Jordan Brand have opted for canvas. Lucky ‘University Red’ lays on the base and Swoosh, with black underlays, laces and tongue. Embroidered Chinese New Year details throughout the upper are a special touch, with some resembling the Ox, which happens to be 2021’s zodiac sign. The obvious highlight has to be the rope fastened to the tongue that cascades around the collar, and is finished with a luxe gold tassel.
