First Look: Air Jordan 1 High Zoom Joins the 'Space Hippie' Program
Making use of recycled materials, this latest High Zoom looks set to build on Nike’s eco-friendly , adding a model to the current mix of new builds.
Inspired by life on Mars - where materials are scarce and there is no resupply mission - the AJ1 Zoom ‘Space Hippie’ comes dressed in a black, ‘Wolf Grey’, and ‘Flash Crimson’. As mentioned, the textured upper is made from recycled textiles, and offset with red stitching on the rear panels and tongues. Aligning with previous Space Hippie models, the white speckled midsole sits above a multicoloured speckled outsole, constructed from Nike Grind and ‘space junk’.
It's all just rumours at this stage, but the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom ‘Space Hippie’ should lift off sometime in the northern summer. We'll hang tight for official confirmation.
