Jordan Brand have had the Air Jordan 1 colourway formula figured out for quite a few years now, to the point that it got SF to pen a plea begging for fewer releases. It seems that call to action fell on deaf ears, as JB remain steadfast in pumping out more colourways of their most popular model. Up next is an OG-ish reference in the ‘Bred Toe’, which will be coming in low-cut form after its high-top version released back in 2018.
In case it isn’t immediately obvious, the ‘Bred Toe’ is a flip of the Air Jordan 1’s OG releases in the black, red and white colour combination of Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls. This Low sees a red toe box surrounded by black bumpers – giving it its nickname – followed by white leather mid panels and red heel counters and ankle collars. Classic Jordan branding includes the Wings logo stitched into the heel. Other familiar features include the encapsulated Air soles placed inside the rubber midsoles and lightly padded nylon tongues. White Jumpman branding designates this as a modern release, but that should be fairly clear.
Keep an eye out for the Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Bred Toe’ to hit all the usual retailers later this year.
