The Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low Takes Us Home to 2004
From the meme of him licking the sole of Air Jordan 7 ‘Olympics’ on MTV Cribs to flexing hyper-rare and sought-after sneakers, Fat Joe’s legacy in the sneaker game is forever cemented. The Terror Squad frontman had a collaborative Nike Air Force 1 Low back in the early aughts, given to friends and family of the record label. The AF1 Low reached Grail status as pairs made their way to the secondary marketplace, fetching over a few grand. Twenty-plus years later, the collaborative sneaker is set to hit retailers for the first time.
Initially given out to friends and family in 2004, the white/black colourway is set to drop for the first time. The upper features a clean two-tone colourway atop a premium white leather base covered with black overlays. Terror Squad’s logo comes stitched on the lateral heel in white, with JC – standing for Joey Crack, Fat Joe’s other moniker – stitched on the heel tab. The midsole utilises white with black accenting on the AIR branding, and a black outsole adds the finishing touches to the sneaker.
The Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low is expected to release later this year via SNKRS and select retailers. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for any updates.
