Take an Official Look at the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Gulf’
skate-ready sub-genre continues to push the boundaries with the inspirational cues for their beloved Now they are looking to the legendary Porsche 917 Gulf race car from the 1970s. After a slew of leaks and surfaced, Team Swoosh have now confirmed the drop with official pics.
A notable car, with a design you can’t miss, Nike SB have taken the iconic colours from the Gulf Oil–sponsored machine and translated that into an eye-catching Dunk. The upper has been covered in ‘Blue Chill’, while ‘Safety Orange’ provides some contrast on the outsole. Subtle hits of white are present on the Swoosh and midsole, with black laces tying the combo together. The number 58 has also been plastered along the lateral heel, as well as the tongue, strengthening the vintage vibe. Suede dominates the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Gulf’, with splashes of leather along the side branding. Another notable detail is the inclusion of the Zoom Air sole unit for peak performance.
