Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 ‘Flax’ Rumoured for 2021
As the sneakersphere ramps up for the release of the latest Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Lows, news of another collaborative project between the legendary New York Label and Nike has filtered through. A continuation of the simple yet successful Supreme x Nike Air Force 1s we saw earlier in the year, a ‘Flax’ colourway of the bogo-fied sneaker looks set for 2021.
Where the OGs saw ‘Triple Black’ and ‘Triple White’ schemes, the rumoured release will likely feature a completely ‘Flax’ exterior, perfect for colder weather. Once again, the iconic Supreme box logo will feature towards the lateral heel, while the rest of the build will reprise on all the familiar Air Force 1 details like the large Swoosh and ‘Air’ on the midsole. Early leaked mock-ups suggest we could see a gum sole unit and rugged rope laces, which would no doubt complement the brown-hued upper nicely.
While Supreme is committed to restocking the OG AF-1 collaborations, we expect this ‘Flax’ version to be more limited, potentially releasing as an on-off drop. For now, the details are still hazy, with a speculative release date slated for late 2021. Considering the cold-weather tones, the date does make sense.
Stay tuned for more info.
