Release Date Announced: Supreme x Nike Courtposite

Update October 16, 2023: Supreme have finally shared release details surrounding their upcoming trio of Nike Courtposites. The collaboration will launch on October 19, 2023, with a release in Japan and Seoul to follow on October 21. Official lookbook images have also been revealed.

The 2023 US Open has kicked off this week and Nike are gearing up for the final tennis major of the season. Luckily, the Swoosh have Carlos Alcaraz signed with the brand as the young Spaniard is coming off a major win at Wimbledon and is crowned the heir apparent to the Big 3 in Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer. Alcaraz teased what’s to come from Nike Tennis in the near future, one of which happens to be a Supreme collaboration on a Nike tennis sneaker from their Alpha Project era of the late 90s and early 00s.

Seen with what looks to be a Supreme collab on the Nike Zoom Courtposite in an Instagram post, the sneaker is seen in a low cut profile with gold Posite seen throughout the upper. The Zoom Courtposite, released in 2002, wasn’t a very popular sneaker for Nike tennis athletes at the time, opting for a more traditional leather build like the Zoom Oscillate or a more breathable option in the Air Court Implosion.

Supreme branding is found on the lateral side near the laces and on the tongue with the Swoosh appearing on the toebox and lateral heel, in minimal fashion. Expect Zoom cushioning to be used in some sort of fashion.

Release details are unknown for the Supreme x Nike Zoom Courtposite, but expect it to drop sometime in Supreme’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection and SNKRS later this year. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for any updates.
