Update January 10, 2023: Stussy and Timberland have officially announced release details for their new World Hiker collaboration. They’ll arrive at Stussy, Timberland, and Dover Street Market on January 13.
and are linking up again after almost a decade since their last effort on a new duo of hardy boots. While visually low-key compared to their previous collaborative efforts, there are some key features beneath the bonnet that ensure owning these pairs is a subtle flex.
It looks like the brand partners have opted for the World Hiker, one of the sturdiest offerings in Timberland’s catalogue. Where this version differs from others is its addition of lining, ensuring complete waterproof protection beneath the all-leather and suede uppers. Beyond this tech, gusseted tongues, boot-cut height, and sealed rubber soles mean water is already going to have a very hard time getting in.
Stussy leave their mark on this all-black and all-tan duo via stamped tongue script logos, plus a pair of metal lace hooks marked with their ‘double S’ logo.
This official reveal by Stussy has yet to announce release details, but it’s likely all the relevant info will be available in the next few days.
