Shawn Stussy’s eponymous imprint continues to make waves in the sneaker industry in 2022, the Orange County label again linking up with the Swoosh for a throwback collaboration. Hot on the heels of their much-hyped Nike Air Force 1 link-up, Stussy are now set to remaster a more niche silhouette, the Air Max 2013 expected to land over the coming months.

Composed in a familiar ‘Fossil’ colourway reminiscent of their Air Spiridon and Air Force 1 Mid, the Air Max 2013 is manufactured in hemp-like uppers featuring a flipped canvas Swoosh on the heel. Stussy branding appears via the threaded eyelets, tongue tabs and co-branded accents on the insoles.

Down below, matte-cream Air unit midsoles cover the traditionally transparent polyurethane, in this way echoing the material choices of the Spiridon Cage 2. Black rubber outsoles complete the design.

In terms of colourways, it’s probably safe to assume that the Stussy x Nike Air Max 2013 will also appear in black, the cream and black colour palette a signature aesthetic choice for the brand.

Look for the Stussy x Nike Air Max 2013 ‘Fossil’ to release in the coming months.
