The end of ' fourth season had the entertainment world buzzing – don't worry, there are no spoilers here if you haven't finished it yet – and with memes, fan theories and excitement for the forthcoming fifth season flying around as thick and fast as a swarm of demobats, sneakerheads have been treated to a look at cast and crew-exclusive pairs of and from the the Stranger Things x partnership.
Shown off by sneaker leaker and early pair seller (no, we didn't forget the 'e'), both pairs are essentially a colour-flipped take on the that dropped back in 2019, and were likely handed out to the show's cast and crew around then. They're coated in black canvas that can be burnt away to reveal sinister red detailing and special branding underneath, a nod to the show's Upside-Down dimension. They also feature all the same details as their general release counterparts, including special branding on the insole, a hidden message printed on the strobel, and a set of pins that nod to the Starcourt Mall, a key location in the show's third season. Stranger Things stars Caleb McLaughlin and Finn Wolfhard are , so we'd have to imagine they were particularly stoked on their pairs!
Don't expect these special Blazers or Tailwinds to release, as they're both a friends and family shoe and a style that was produced a few years back. However, you can enjoy a look at them above while you await Stranger Things season 5 ... which will be a while, as it'll likely be released in 2024 or 2025.
