Steph Curry Honours Obama With One-Of-One Sneakers
Steph Curry has honoured outgoing President Barack Obama with a pair of one-of-one Under Armour Curry 3s for Martin Luther King Day. Curry posted the shoes to his Twitter account with a message saying that Obama embodies MLK’s beliefs, and that he’d be wearing the shoes on court as a tribute.

True to his word, Steph Curry wore the 3s in the following game when the Golden State Warriors trounced the Cleveland Cavaliers 126-91. Other players also celebrated the occasion, with Klay Thompson wearing his ‘MLK Day’ Anta KT2s and Nike and Jordan Brand’s MLK PEs in high rotation.
Unless Curry ever auctions these off, there’s little chance anyone out there will get their hands on them. But comments on Curry's tweet from Under Armour do suggest that the brand could be cooking up another pair for the POTUS.
