Sotheby’s have established themselves as the go-to vendor for auctioning rare sneakers. Their latest collection, titled ‘Modern Collectibles’, is a 37-lot grouping of rare sport, fashion and street culture ephemera that is sure to fetch some big bids. Let’s take a quick look at what’s on offer.

There’s a bit of something for every sneakerhead. The complete Off-White x Nike ‘The Ten’ collection can be had – bidding is at $22,000 at time of writing. They're not the only Virgil Abloh-associated items on offer either: a signed pair of Louis Vuitton Trainers is up for grabs; so is the ‘UNC’ colourway of the Off-White x Air Jordan 1.

OG collectors can try their hand at some 1980s and 90s classics, such as original 1985 Nike Dunks and Terminators, Air Jordan 1s, and even some game-worn Converse Weapons and Pro Leathers!

Some special Air Force 1s are also available for purchase, with a handful of uber rare Kobe Bryant editions on offer. Hype chasers can pick up the KAWS x Air Jordan 4, Nike Mag (2011 and 2016 versions), and the Air Yeezy 2 ‘Red October’. There are also some obscure bits like basketball cards, Louis Vuitton skate decks, and a Supreme x Brooklyn Machine Works BMX previously owned by Eric Clapton!

The Sotheby’s ‘Modern Collectibles’ auction ends on April 1.
