SoleSavy Launch COLLECT: A Sneaker Marketplace Where You Cop for Retail!
With a world full of resellers, bots and inflated resale prices, copping kicks has become quite the chore! In 2018, Dejan Praclica and Justin Dusanj founded , an online subscription-based community, to counter this issue plaguing the sneakersphere. Their platform has helped connect thousands of like-minded individuals over their shared love of sneakers and the dream of never paying above retail. Now, they’ve just launched their next project: COLLECT. It’s an online marketplace where you can buy, sell and trade your sneakers.
COLLECT is the first sneaker marketplace where pairs have to be priced at their original RRP or less. Restrictions are in place to avoid price gouging on sought-after iterations. Currently available on the Apple App Store, SoleSavy are looking to create a fair marketplace for both buyers and sellers, asking 2–3 per cent commission on sales and an $8 flat rate on trades (although if you’re a premium member, you won’t have to pay any fees). The crew have also integrated a virtual wardrobe, so you can keep track of and manage your whole collection via the app.
