Wild Find! Ultra Rare SoleFly Air Jordan 3 'Lotto' Sample Surfaces

An ultra rare x sample has surfaced from the vault, revealing a wild design that could’ve taken the Miami boutique’s Jordan journey down a radically different design path. Dubbed the ‘Lotto’ Air Jordan 3, this early sample from 2014 showcases a flamboyant mix of colours and textures that break sharply from traditional Air Jordan 3 styling.

The upper features a striking lenticular finish that shifts between blasts of pink and white depending on the viewing angle – an eye-catching nod to Florida’s native flamingo and the heat of the Miami sun. A vivid red midsole section wraps the toe, while matching hits of red appear on the heel plate and inner lining. SoleFly’s flamingo logo appears on the tongue, replacing the standard Jumpman. Gone is the model’s signature elephant print – in its place, clean-cut colour-blocking that leans into the visual language of Florida lottery stubs.

Founded in 2010 by Carlos Prieto – who happens to be Michael Jordan’s brother-in-law — SoleFly quickly made waves as one of the first boutique retailers in the southeastern US to land high-level Jordan collaborations.

Known for storytelling that celebrates Florida culture, Latin heritage, and local lore, SoleFly’s colabs have included everything from the to the wild ‘Carnivore’-inspired . Their small-run drops and regional focus have made them a cult favourite among collectors and a reliable wildcard in Jordan Brand’s rotation.

Though never released to the public, the sample remains a standout in SoleFly’s collaborative archive – a true one-off that shows just how adventurous the brand was willing to be even a decade ago. With a new SoleFly x Air Jordan 3 officially landing in Holiday 2025, this earlier design reminds us of the untapped energy still sitting in Jordan Brand’s vault.
