Berlin’s sneaker scene just got a major upgrade. S long celebrated for pushing the boundaries of streetwear retail, have partnered with 3D printing trailblazers to launch a groundbreaking in-store experience at their Berlin flagship.

This world-first retail concept lets customers witness the future of footwear in action. Solebox have swapped out their iconic robotic Solebot for a futuristic printer farm installation, reflecting a shift from retrieving stock to on-demand production. At the heart of the space is Zellerfeld’s proprietary 3D printing system, where shoes are made from a single, recyclable material with no stitching, glue, or waste. Live displays walk visitors through the entire process, showing how digital code is transformed layer by layer into real shoes.

Adding to the innovation is a professional foot-scanning station that captures a precise 3D map of customers' feet. This data allows Zellerfeld to craft shoes tailored to the exact shape of each foot – no standard sizes, no compromise on fit. Once customers select their preferred design, the shoes are printed to order and shipped directly to their door.

And this isn’t just about wearing the future – "It’s about participating in it,” says Solebox CEO Aljoscha Kondratiev. The space invites Berlin’s sneakerheads to engage with the entire process from scan to print, transforming them from consumers into co-creators.
