Sole Search India Needs Your Help to Fight COVID-19!
Sole Search India are reaching out to the global sneaker community for a helping hand (and foot) with their charity drive for COVID-19 relief. As the largest marketplace for sneakers and streetwear in India, Sole Search are auctioning off donated items, with 100 per cent of the funds raised going towards three organisations: Hemkunt Foundation, Khalsa Aid, and GiveIndia, all of whom are working on the frontline to provide aid and medical supplies to those in need.
The health system in India is currently collapsing, with nearly 3.5 million active cases, and conditions worsening by the day.
You can donate anything – sneakers, streetwear, jewellery, accessories, artwork, or digital artwork that can be listed as an NFT. One follower has donated the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 ‘British Khaki’, which has already raised close to $1000.
‘With the support of our Indian community, we have raised [over $17,000] for the COVID relief fund in the last 24 hours’, says Prabal Baghla, Sole Search India co-founder. ‘We hope that by doing so, we will be able to assist as many people as possible while also possibly saving some lives. It would be greatly appreciated if you could join us in doing our part as a community to assist these foundations in their cause.’
