Social Status Reveal an Exclusive Nike Waffle One
James Whitner’s Whitaker Group look set to have a strong year. A Ma Maniére, which they are the parent company of, recently shared their inaugural Jordan Brand collaboration on the . And now another one of their off-shoots, , have just shared that they’ll be stocking an exclusive pair of Waffle Ones.
We haven’t heard much from the brand new Waffle One silhouette since it first surfaced in ‘’ towards the beginning of this year. The high-tech silhouette takes its design cues from Nike’s signature , elevating it slightly with the use of modernised touches.
Similar to the ‘Active Fuchsia’ pair, the Social Status exclusive boasts a see-through mesh base, suede overlays, and a plastic wrap around the heel. Clean bronze metallic tones cover the upper with subtle black and red accents. Paying homage to the Waffle Racer’s age, Team Swoosh have pre-yellowed the sole, giving off serious vintage vibes. Completing that vibe is the Waffle outsole.
The team over at Social Status haven’t announced a release date for their Nike Waffle One just yet. This bad boy is set to be a Whitaker Group exclusive according to their Instagram post below. We’ll keep you updated on when this is set to drop.
