Sneaker Freaker Swap Meet April 2018 Event Recap
Footwear fiends from far and wide converged on Melbourne’s Globe warehouse this past Saturday to hustle, flex and haggle at the Sneaker Freaker Swap Meet, presented by . Though winter's icy talons have begun to take hold down south, the cement was scorching thanks to that arrived on-foot. Of course, it’s always a frightening prospect to bust out something special for a crowded event; luckily, the crew from Jason Markk were there to scrub up any grubby sneakers free of charge.
Meanwhile, sellers pushed trestle tables to their limits and bartered with thirsty buyers over rare price tags. Hype DC and XLARGE handed out t-shirts galore to a caffeinated crowd who calmed their coffee buzz with burgers and a soothing dose of autumnal sunshine.
By the end of the day, money had changed hands, grails were acquired and plenty of good times were had. That’s another successful swap meet done and dusted, but don’t worry if you missed out – because we're doing it all again.
