In-Hand Look at The SHUSHU/TONG x ASICS Collaboration

Update December 22, 2022: A first in-hand look at the upcoming SHUSHU/TONG x ASICS collaboration has arrived via @yuki_tsang. According to them, the model is actually known as the GEL-MC and its bows are detachable! A white counterpart is also expected to be arriving on December 23.

ASICS’ Sportstyle division have been killing it all year round, both with General Release colourways and collaborations that seem to be only getting hotter. Most recently, SF revealed that AWAKE NY and ASICS were teaming up for a collaboration, which features on a Europe-exclusive cover of Issue 48. Prior to that, there’s been hyped colabs like the women’s Hysteric Glamour x Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS GEL-Quantum Lylia, Freja Wewer’s GEL-1090v2 and more.

Now just before the year is out, ASICS have announced they’ve been working on another collaboration, this time with Shanghai-based brand SHUSHU/TONG, most recognised for their playful yet elegant wardrobe offerings bolstered with accessories and footwear. It comes as no surprise that their creation with ASICS would make for their perfect pair of sneakers to set off a head-to-toe look from the brand, complete with oversized bows overtop laces.

ASICS have not made an official announcement just yet, but SHUSHU/TONG have shared the first look and stated pairs are set to arrive on December 23. Stay locked for more information as it surfaces!
