The Shoe Surgeon Has Created The Most Expensive Cleats for Super Bowl LVI
The Super Bowl LVI has kicked off and while most people are interested in who’s going to win, we’re more interested in what the players are wearing on their feet! The absolute highlight so far is Odell Beckham Jr’s warm up cleat collaborative effort with The Shoe Surgeon and Jason of Beverly Hills which has been dubbed ‘the most expensive cleat in the world’. Well over 100 man hours went into creating this football shoe that’s been valued at over $200,000 and has been themed around the Los Angeles Rams team. It utilises a gold base, with yellow python skin and 1,494 individual white diamonds for the Swoosh!
Jalen Ramsey, also a LA Rams player had three cleats created by The Shoe Surgeon, now dubbed ‘Daughters Love’ and has his kids name inscribed on the upper. Another inspired by the Lombardi trophy which is awarded to the Super Bowl’s winning team and finally a jewelled pair in collaboration with Dan Life. Kupp also received a special warm-up pair, which uses a repurposed KAWS shirt as he is a big fan of the American artist. The final cleat created by The Shoe Surgeon is for player Von Miller and has been inspired by Kobe Bryant’s Adidas Crazy 1.
We’ll keep an eye out for more epic cleats worn at the Super Bowl!
