SF Playlist #44: Stylefile Throw Up a Hectic Playlist
The latest Sneaker Freaker Playlist is techno, electro and lo-fi heavy, so get pumped!
Stylefile is a world renowned graffiti, streetwear and sneaker store – your one stop shop for everything from fat caps to fat adidas tracksuits and Shell Toes. Most recently, the store linked up with PUMA to debut a hectic customisable Ralph Sampson, which dropped alongside a pack that contained 72 pieces so you were able to leave your mark on the shoes however you wished. As a location that’s a breeding ground and regular meeting place for graffiti-writers, sneakerheads, and fans of street culture as a whole, you can bet their music taste is immaculate. And, speaking of their taste in tunes, we’ve tapped the crew to contribute to our Spotify playlist section.
Going for 26 songs, Stylefile have delivered a real mixed bag. Starting it all off is Metronomy and their banging tune ‘Holiday’, next up to the plate is Vitalic with some experimental techno. DJ Koze chimes in, sitting next to Goldfrapp and their electronic pop sound. Lebanon Hanover shows us what post punk should sound like, before Anthony Rother, Linea Aspera, and Velvet Condom give us the finale we deserve.
